Product Description
Quiet street dual disc for serious power (650 HP / ~1,200 FT-LBS). The VALAIR QNV45DDSN uses ceramic facings, a 3,800 lb diaphragm pressure plate, and a strapped (quiet) floater to tame rattle when the pedal is down while delivering confident bite for tuned 2nd-gen Cummins builds.

- 1994–2003 Dodge Ram 2500/3500, 5.9L Cummins, NV4500 5-speed manual

FAQ
How much power will this clutch hold? It’s rated around 650 HP and ~1,200 ft-lbs for street use with tuned setups. Stay within rating for best life.
Is it actually quiet? The strapped floater reduces the typical dual-disc floater rattle when the pedal is depressed. It will not eliminate normal diesel gear rollover noise at idle.
Do I need a 1-3/8" input shaft?Yes if your NV4500 is still 1-1/4". This kit uses 1-3/8" hubs. Upgrade the input before installation to avoid spline mismatch.
What else should I replace while I’m in there? We recommend fresh hydraulics and hardware for consistent pedal feel and clamp load: NMU70HYD-01, NMU70HYD-02, ARP 147-2802.
Break-in procedure?About 500 miles of light, stop-and-go driving. Avoid hard launches or heavy towing until break-in is complete.
