Frequently Asked Questions
- Do I need a probe to see EGT on my CTS3?
- For accurate pre-turbo EGT, add the Edge 98620 EAS EGT kit. Some EGT PIDs are available via OBD-II, but a dedicated probe is best for towing and performance.
- Edge CTS3 vs. Banks iDash — which is better?
- CTS3 offers a large touch display and easy EAS expansion. iDash is compact with powerful add-on modules (e.g., 66554, 66544). Both pair well with our pillar/dash mounts.
- Can I monitor drive pressure?
- Yes. Use the iDash with the 66554 module and 66422 high-temp remote mount kit to protect the sensor from heat.
- Will the pillar mount fit my truck?
- For 2010–2018 Ram 2500/3500, use the cast-aluminum Edge 38602 CTS3 pillar mount for an OEM-style fit.
- Do analog gauges still make sense on a 2013–2018?
- Yes. Many customers run a classic trio—Boost, EGT, and Trans Temp—for instant, glanceable info.
