Traction bars are a necessary upgrade when increasing the horsepower on your truck to prevent the axle from twisting which can lead to broken u-joints, driveshafts, and even twisted axle housings.

These Universal Fabricator Series 68" Traction Bars include the essentials, allowing you to customize the mounts for your application:

High quality Rock Jock rebuild-able and grease-able “Johnny Joint” heim connections at the frame side connection for the bars.
Heavy Duty Poly Urethane Bushing at the axle side connection for decreased noise and vibration (A common complaint if a solid heim is used on both ends)
We complete our traction bars with our professional in-house powder coat process in your color choice and comes standard with a epoxy primer base coat before the final color which increases corrosion resistance by more than ten times compared to just your standard powder single coat application.

Powder coating has quickly become one of the most popular alternatives to traditional paint coatings. This type of surface finishing uses a dry powder applied electrostatically as a coating. The part is then cured in an oven for a period of time at temperatures ranging from 380-425*F to form a solid, durable finish. Powder coating not only looks great, but it also lasts longer while providing protection from harmful corrosion. To further improve corrosion resistance for components exposed to the weather we can first apply a Zinc-Rich Base Coat primer before the final color, which offers nearly ten times the corrosion resistance of just a standard coat of powder.
