FAQ
How much power will this clutch hold? It’s rated for ~500 HP and ~1,000 ft-lbs with the included 3400# pressure plate and Kevlar/Ceramic buttons—great for tuned/towing trucks that still daily drive.
Does this include a flywheel and hydraulics?Yes. A new G56 solid flywheel, bearings, hardware, alignment tool, and a pre-bled hydraulic kit are included for a complete install.
Will it chatter or be grabby?Kevlar/Ceramic buttons provide higher heat capacity and bite than organic while remaining manageable for street/tow duty. Proper break-in reduces noise and harsh engagement.
How do I verify G56 vs NV5600 on a 2005 truck?Check the trans tag or case: mid-2005 switched to G56. If you have an NV5600, choose an NV5600-specific kit instead of this G56 application.
What else should I replace while I’m in there? We recommend fresh hydraulics and clutch actuation parts for best feel and longevity: NMU70HYD-03, pivot, fork, spring.
