The VALAIR NMU70279-5SCE is a 13" organic single-disc upgrade for 1994–2003 Ram 2500/3500 5.9L Cummins trucks equipped with the NV4500 5-speed. It converts the stock 12.25" setup to a stronger 13" package for better heat capacity and grip while keeping daily drivability.

How do I know if I have an NV4500?1994–2003 Cummins 5-speed trucks use NV4500. Check the transmission ID tag/case if unsure. 2000.5–2005.5 6-speed trucks use NV5600, which requires different kits.
