The South Bend SDD3250-5-ORG is a Stage 4 street/tow dual disc built around full organic facings for the smoothest engagement you can get in a dual disc. It’s an excellent match for daily-driven 5.9L Cummins trucks that also tow, balancing pedal effort with reliable holding power around ~550 HP / ~1100 lb-ft (vehicle dependent).

It’s commonly chosen for heavy towing builds and long-haul use thanks to the smooth organic facings and dual-disc design. Actual GCW capability depends on gearing, tune, setup, and driver. For HO NV5600 applications, consider the SDD3250-6-ORG. 

South Bend lists the 5-ORG for NV4500 and certain Non-HO NV5600 (1999–2000.5). If your truck is an HO (2000.5–2005.5), use the SDD3250-6-ORG instead. Always confirm input shaft size. 

Full organic facings prioritize smooth engagement and low chatter, making it easier to maneuver trailers and daily drive than aggressive ceramic/faramic mixes, while still supporting moderate power.
