The Smarty ComMod is a communication module that allows the Smarty Touch to communicate with the ECM (Engine Control Module) over two CAN Bus channels simultaneously. It's an additional Bus expansion port for the Smarty Touch.
Here are some features of the Smarty ComMod:
- Unlocks ECMs: The ComMod unlocks the ECMs for MY 2013+
- Tunes parameters: The ComMod tunes real-time parameters
- Automatic parameter sending: The Smarty Touch automatically sends the selected OTF parameters to the ECM when the engine is started
- Easy installation: The ComMod is installed on the under dash controller by pulling the OBDII cable from the controller, sliding the ComMod onto the controller, and plugging the OBDII cable back into the ComMod
The Smarty ComMod is compatible with the Mads Smarty Touch Programmer, which is a performance programmer for Dodge Cummins trucks. The Smarty Touch Programmer has a 4.3" touch-screen gauge display and can be used to monitor parameters.
