FAQ
Does this fit 2003–early 2004 trucks? No. This is a cat-back system for 2004.5–2007 5.9L Cummins trucks that came with a catalytic converter. For 2003–early 2004, use a system designed for non-cat trucks.
Is a tip included? No tip is included. Choose an MBRP 4"-inlet tip like the polished T5124 or black T5124BLK.
What diameter is the tailpipe outlet?Outlet is 4" (accepts 4"-inlet tips). System tubing is 5" from the muffler back for maximum flow.
Will this help EGTs and spool?Yes. The larger 5" system reduces restriction vs. stock, typically lowering EGTs under load and improving throttle response.
What if I want stainless instead of aluminized?Choose MBRP S6108409 (4" T409) or aFe 49-42012 (5" T409).
