Helpful Notes
- Measure crank and housing bores; line-hone blocks as required. Verify oil clearance and thrust endplay.
- Pair bearing clearance with intended oil viscosity, rpm, and use. HX (extra-clearance) sets are available if needed.
FAQ
Do these include the thrust bearing?Yes—this complete set includes the upper flanged thrust bearing along with the main shells.
When should I choose HX (extra-clearance) instead?Very high rpm, large oil temperature, or polished/ground crank journals may benefit from HX. See our HX listing if you require additional clearance.
Are these suitable for street trucks? They’re engineered for competition, but work great in high-power street/strip builds when clearances and oiling are set correctly.
What fasteners should I run?Main studs are strongly recommended for power/boost beyond stock. See ARP kits linked above for the correct year/application.
