FAQ
Will these fit my VP44 24-valve without custom rods? They’re designed for the 1998.5–2002 5.9L 24V VP44 platform. Use standard-style rods and confirm clearances during mock-up.
Do they include rings, pins, and clips? This listing is for the piston set. Pair with the correct 4.036" ring package (see links above) and your preferred pins/clips as required by your build.
How much power will the coatings support? The thermal/crown and skirt coatings are engineered for high heat and load typical of competition use; final limits depend on tuning, air/fuel system, and clearances.
What other upgrades should I consider while the head is off?Head studs, fresh head gasket set, correct valve springs/retainers, and a quality damper. See the Engine Parts & Accessories category for 98.5–02.
