Loaded with upgraded stainless valves, fresh valve springs, diamond-honed guides, and a decked surface for a true, ready-to-install head. Use with a fire-ring head gasket kit (sold separately).

Does this include the fire-ring gasket and rings?No. The head is machined for fire rings; the fire-ring head gasket kit and rings are sold separately. See the recommended PDM-54174 kit above.
When should I choose ARP 625+ studs over standard ARP?Standard ARP 247-4202 covers most street/tow builds. Choose 247-4204 (625+) for high boost, aggressive timing, or competition use.
Is additional machine work required before install?The head arrives decked and loaded. As with any head job, confirm surface finish, valve protrusion, and fire-ring groove specs, and verify block flatness.
Will this fit my 1998 12-valve?No. This is for 1998.5-2002 24-valve (VP44) applications only.
