FAQ
Is this a complete, running engine? No. It is an unassembled short block kit with all major machined components and hardware to assemble the short block. You will reuse/choose your cylinder head, head gasket thickness, fasteners, and top-end/fuel/turbo components.
Do I need machine work after delivery?Major machining is completed (bore/hone with torque plate, balancing, blue-printing). You should still measure and verify all clearances and ring gaps, then assemble in a clean environment following best practices.
What power level is Stage 1 aimed at?Stage 1 is a stout street/tow/entry-race foundation. For bigger single or compound turbos, large injectors, and higher RPM, consider upgrading to additional valvetrain, studs, and oiling mods to match your goals.
Are head studs required?Highly recommended on performance 12-valve builds. Pair with the correct head gasket thickness after deck and piston protrusion are verified.
