Direct-fit BIG IRON oil pan for 1989-2002 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 with 5.9L Cummins (12-valve & 24-valve). Industrial Injection's design features a thicker, reinforced lip and a drain plug engineered with four bleed holes to ensure a complete drain during service. For trucks equipped with main studs/girdles, see the stamped-pan variant noted below.

FAQ
Will this pan fit both 12-valve (1989-1998) and 24-valve (1998.5-2002) 5.9L Cummins?
Yes. It's designed for 1989-2002 5.9L applications. On 1989-1993 setups you'll need to use a 1994-2002 pickup tube for proper pickup alignment.
Do I have to change the oil pan bolts?
This Big Iron pan uses 6.7L-length bolts (longer than stock 5.9L). We recommend replacing the hardware with our bolt set for correct thread engagement and sealing.
Does it include a gasket?
No. Pair it with the MAHLE OS32139 gasket (1989-2002).
What if my engine has a main stud girdle?
Use the stamped Big Iron version designed to clear girdles (search our site for “BI591224VOPMS).
Is capacity different from OE?
It is built as an OE-style replacement with improved draining and a reinforced lip; capacity remains comparable to stock.
