FAQ
How much RPM can these springs support? With the proper retainers and supporting valvetrain, these 110# springs are suitable up to roughly 6,500 RPM for competition use.
Are tool-steel retainers required?Yes—above ~4,500 RPM Hamilton specifies their tool-steel retainers to prevent retainer failures. Use 07-S-004.
Is this set good for a daily driver? These are competition-oriented springs with higher seat pressure. For daily use, consider 103# or CPP 115# options.
What supporting parts do you recommend? At minimum: tool-steel retainers, quality pushrods, and a proper spring compressor. For aggressive profiles, consider a steel camshaft/tappets and verify installed height.
