Yes. This auxiliary filter kit is designed to work in concert with a fuel filter delete kit from Fleece. The delete kit removes the factory rear filter housing so you can mount this block and filter base properly. The product instructions state a Fleece filter delete kit is required.
Can I use this kit on a stock lift-pump system?
Yes, but if you are connecting to a stock lift pump with a quick-disconnect style fitting you’ll need the Fleece part number FPE-QUCON-OE-38 adapter fitting. The kit does not include that adapter.
Does this kit include a filter heater for cold weather?
No. This particular version is non-heated. If your truck is in a cold-climate or uses the factory heated filter housing you may need to add a compatible heater or select the heated version of the kit.
