The Firestone 2153 Ride-Rite Air Bag Helper Springs from XDP enhance stability, ride quality, brake effectiveness, and safe load-carrying capacity in your 1996-2007 Ford E450 Cab & Chassis or 1996-2007 Ford E450 Class C Motorhome/Cutaway. These helper springs install between your motorhome or cutaway truck's suspension and frame. They use a pair of convoluted air springs that can be individually tweaked to accommodate off-center loads. After your truck's air springs are properly adjusted, they work to smooth out your ride by absorbing road vibrations and lessening interleaf friction. On top of providing ride comfort, Ride-Rite 2153 air springs work to heighten your safety on the road. They help balance the truck or motorhome to level headlight beams, reduce tire wear, and support braking and steering responsiveness. They could help other parts of your vehicle last longer and perform better, too. Ride-Rite air helper springs prevent leaf springs from irreversible sagging under constant load and lower your chances of bottoming out by softening contact between the frame and axle. The Firestone 2153 Ride-Rite kit comes with everything you need for installation, including brackets, air springs, hardware, air line, and separate valves for manual inflation.
