Overview: The FASS XWS-3002-XL Extended Length Extreme Water Separator is a 2-micron absolute hydroglass filter that captures water within the element—no drain needed. It MUST be paired with the PF-3001XL particulate filter. On updated systems, install the XWS-3002-XL on the pressure side and the PF-3001XL on the suction side.
Fitment
- For use with FASS: Titanium Signature Series, Titanium Series, Industrial Series, Competition Series, and Drop-In Series systems.
- Incompatible with legacy filter combos FF-3003/FF-3010 or FS-1001/FS-1020.

Installation Instructions
- Shut engine OFF and allow system to depressurize. Place a drain pan under the filter heads.
- Remove old filters. Clean filter head sealing surfaces.
- Lightly oil the new gasket. Install PF-3001XL on the suction side and hand-tighten until gasket contacts, then turn an additional 3/4 turn.
- Install XWS-3002-XL on the pressure side and tighten as above. Do not pre-fill; the system will prime itself.
- Prime the system by key-cycling the pump several times until it runs smoothly and fuel flow sounds consistent. Check for leaks. Start engine and recheck.
