The FASS HK1002 High Output Heater Disk automatically powers on when fuel temperature drops to ~34°F, using a 300-watt element to warm fuel as it enters your FASS system—helping prevent gelling in the filters during extreme cold. Once optimal temperature is reached, the unit turns itself off to avoid overheating.
