The CNC Fabrication 424002 High Pressure Oil Pump Line Kit With Crossover is a premium replacement and upgrade kit for 1994.5-1997 Ford 7.3L Power Stroke OBS trucks. Designed to replace high-mileage factory HPOP lines, this kit includes upgraded high-pressure oil lines with a crossover HPx line to help balance oil pressure between the cylinder heads and reduce common 7.3L idle noise caused by pressure pulses in the high-pressure oil system.
The included HPx crossover line connects the two cylinder heads, allowing pressure spikes from injector operation to transfer between heads instead of hammering directly against the high-pressure oil pump. While this upgrade does not create additional horsepower, many 7.3L owners notice a slight to significant reduction in engine idle noise and smoother high-pressure oil system operation.
