The BD DIESEL 1064724SS TowMaster Allison 1000 Transmission and Converter Package is a complete heavy-duty towing upgrade for 2004.5–2006 Chevy Silverado & GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD equipped with the LLY 6.6L Duramax and the 5-speed Allison 1000 automatic transmission in 4WD configuration. Built for hard work, daily driving, and towing, this package includes a BD-built transmission matched with an upgraded torque converter to deliver smoother shifting, increased clutch holding power, and improved durability under load.
TowMaster transmissions are assembled with upgraded clutch packs, enhanced valve body modifications, and improved line pressure control to reduce clutch slippage and heat buildup. A deep transmission pan increases fluid capacity to help manage temperatures during towing and commercial use. The included upgraded torque converter is designed to provide improved efficiency, better coupling, and dependable lock-up performance for both street and towing applications.
