The BD DIESEL 1036530 PMD Extension Cable (Black) is designed to support remote mounting of the PMD/FSD (Pump Mounted Driver / Fuel Solenoid Driver) on 1994–2000 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 6.5L diesel engines. Excessive heat is one of the leading causes of PMD failure, and relocating the PMD away from the injection pump is a proven solution to improve reliability.
This 40-inch extension cable allows the PMD to be mounted to a remote heat sink or cooler location, reducing thermal stress and extending PMD service life. The heavy-duty wiring and OE-style connectors ensure a secure, reliable connection between the injection pump and relocated PMD module.
