The BD DIESEL 1030423E 48RE Exchange Valve Body is a fully reworked, BD-calibrated replacement valve body engineered for 2003–2007 Dodge Ram trucks equipped with the 5.9L Cummins and 48RE automatic transmission. Designed to correct common factory shortcomings, this valve body delivers firmer, more consistent shifts, improved clutch holding power, and increased transmission reliability under load.
Each valve body is completely disassembled, inspected, and recalibrated by BD Diesel using revised hydraulic circuits and upgraded components. This unit comes complete with a new governor pressure solenoid and transducer, addressing two of the most failure-prone components in the 48RE transmission.
