The factory overdrive clutch pack is known to be borderline in higher load and higher torque conditions, and this TransGo upgrade helps create a broader safety margin for towing, tuned trucks, and hard-working daily drivers. It is a direct fit for the OEM drum and allows additional clutch capacity without requiring an aftermarket drum.
