FAQ
How much power and towing will this handle? It’s commonly rated around 550 HP / 1,100 ft-lbs with the smooth engagement of full organic facings—ideal for heavy towing on street setups when the rest of the drivetrain is healthy.
Why choose full organic over ceramic/organic?
Full organic provides the smoothest engagement and least chatter for street/tow duty. If you see higher sustained heat (sleds, competition), a ceramic/organic mix may be better.
Will this fit my 1999–2003 Super Duty?
No. This kit is for 1994–1998 OBS trucks with the ZF-5. Later Super Duty models used different configurations.
Do I need to upgrade hydraulics?
Not required, but higher clamp loads benefit from fresh or HD hydraulics for consistent pedal feel and release—especially if the originals are worn.
Is this SFI certified?
No. It’s a street/tow system and not intended for competition use.
