FAQ
Will this fit my 1999 or early 2000 truck? No. Those are typically Non-HO with 1.25" input. Use the SDD3250-5 or verify transmission/input before purchase.
What makes the SDD3250-6 different from the SDD3250-5?
The -6 is for NV5600 HO trucks with a 1-3/8" input (2000.5–2005.5). The -5 targets NV4500 and early Non-HO NV5600 1.25" applications.
Is it good for heavy towing?
Yes—this Street/Tow dual disc is commonly used for heavy towing when the rest of the drivetrain is healthy. Shift as needed to manage EGT and torque load.
How’s the pedal feel?
Surprisingly light for the holding capacity thanks to the diaphragm pressure plate, with smooth, predictable engagement.
Is this SFI certified?
No. It’s a street/tow system. For competition use, choose an SFI package.
