FAQ
Does this kit include a flywheel?Yes. It’s a solid (single-mass) flywheel conversion and will not work with the OEM dual-mass flywheel.
What power level is this clutch designed for?
Approximately 425 HP and 900 ft-lbs, suitable for tuned 7.3L trucks used for daily driving and heavy towing.
Is pedal feel acceptable for daily driving?
Yes. The HD organic facing and pressure plate provide firm but predictable engagement suitable for street and tow duty.
What if I tow very heavy or plan more power?
Consider stepping up to an OFE (1944-6OFER/6OFEK) or a Street Dual Disc (SFDD3250-6) for added capacity.

Coverage typically lists 1999–2003 or 1999–2003.5. Verify build date and ZF-6 application details before purchase.

Pedal Pressure
I couldn't find any reviews on this clutch saying if the peddle would be easier to push than the OEM clutch. My 1999 f450 7.3 powerstroke OEM dual mass flywheel & clutch had a really stiff pedal which gave your leg a workout when driving in town. This 1944-6OK-HD makes the peddle a little easier to push than OEM but not by much. I've had dual disk clutches that made the peddle as easy as butter to push but they were so grabby & jumpy that backing up was awful, especially with a trailer. This 1944-6OK-HD engages really smooth in both forward & reverse but it takes 500 miles to break in so I can't say what it will be like by then. This 1944-6OK-HD has made the clutch pedal a tad easier to push than the oem was but don't expect a huge difference.
