Product Description
Open up your second-gen Cummins with MBRP’s Armor Lite (AL/PLM) 5-inch turbo-back, single side exit system — no muffler for max flow and classic MBRP sound. Built in heavy-duty aluminized steel, this kit is designed for the 1998.5–2002 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 5.9L Cummins and deletes the factory muffler for lower EGTs and a deeper exhaust note.

FAQ
Will this fit my 1998 truck?
It fits 1998.5–2002 24-valve trucks. Early-1998 12-valve models use different downpipe routing. If you’re unsure which you have, send us your VIN and we’ll confirm.
Does this include a tip?
No. For a clean 5" finish, add the MBRP T5129. If you need to adapt from 4" to 5", use MBRP UA2001.
How loud is the no-muffler setup?
It’s the most aggressive option MBRP offers for this platform. If you want to tone it down later, add the MBRP M2050S in the straight section.
Is there a stainless version of this kit?
Yes — see MBRP S61120SLM (T409 stainless steel).
What does “Armor Lite / PLM” mean?
MBRP’s Armor Lite (PLM) series uses heavy-duty aluminized steel for value and durability in moderate climates. For maximum corrosion resistance, choose Armor Plus (stainless).
