FAQ
Will this fit my 2004 Cummins? It fits 2004.5 “600/610” common-rail models through 2007. Early 2004 (2003–early ’04) trucks use different part numbers; see our 03–04 MBRP listings if needed.
Is any welding required?
No. It’s a bolt-on kit that uses factory-style hangers and includes clamps and hardware.
How does XP (T409) compare to AL (aluminized) or Pro (T304)?
XP (T409) balances value and longevity versus aluminized. T304 offers the most corrosion resistance but at a higher price. Sound/performance are primarily dictated by tubing size and muffler configuration, not just material.
Is a tip included?
Refer to the product photos and “What’s Included” above. Tip inclusion varies by specific sub-series; if you need a particular style, ask our team.
Will this trigger a check-engine light?
As a cat-back that retains the factory catalyst and sensors, it’s not expected to cause CELs when installed correctly.
