FAQ
Will this fit my 2001–2004 LB7 Duramax?
Yes — it’s built for 2500/3500 HD EC/CC LB7 trucks. Check for California-emissions exceptions on some 2002–2004 models before purchase.
What’s the difference between S6005P, S6005PLM, and S6005SLM?
S6005P includes a muffler (aluminized), S6005PLM deletes the muffler (aluminized), and S6005SLM deletes the muffler in T409 stainless for better corrosion resistance.
Is a tip included?
No tip is included in this kit. You can add an MBRP 4" tip separately.
Do I need tuning after install?
No tuning is required for the exhaust alone; pairing with other upgrades may benefit from calibration.
Is it street legal in California?
No — this downpipe-back, no-muffler system is not CARB approved and is not for sale/use on CA-emissions vehicles.
