Product Description
MAHLE / Clevite CB-1413P-.50MM is a P-Series tri-metal connecting rod bearing for the 1989–2002 Cummins 5.9L (6BT/ISB) that have had the rod journals ground 0.50 mm undersize. Built on a hardened steel back with a high-strength TM-112 copper/lead intermediate layer and reduced overlay thickness, this bearing delivers high crush, increased eccentricity, and excellent fatigue resistance—ideal for heavy-duty, performance, and towing builds.

FAQ
Will this fit my stock 5.9L if I haven’t machined the crank?
No. This is a .50 mm undersize bearing for use after the crank rod journals are ground. If your crank is standard size, use CB-1413P (STD) instead.
How many do I need?
These are sold individually. You need six (6) to service all connecting rods on a 5.9L inline-6.
Does this work with fractured-cap rods?
No. The CB-1413P family is for non-fractured rods only.
What makes P-Series bearings good for performance?
They use a hardened steel back, high crush for retention, and a thin overlay that resists fatigue at higher loads/RPM.
