Will this fit my 24-valve 5.9L (1998.5–2002)?
No. This head is for 12-valve engines only. For 24-valve parts, see our 5.9L 24V category.
Is machining required?
Heads are prepped for performance use, but always verify surface finish and specs for your gasket/stud combo. Minor checks/cleaning may be needed.
Do I need head studs?
Yes—especially for elevated boost. We strongly recommend ARP head studs.
