Will these work on early 1999 trucks?No. Early-’99 trucks (pre-12/07/1998 build) typically use AA/AB/AC injectors. These AD-code units fit 1999.5–2003 builds.
Do I need new valve cover gaskets and UVCH?We strongly recommend replacing brittle gaskets/harnesses during injector service to avoid intermittent misfires and connection issues.
