FAQ
Do I need this kit on a stock turbo and tune?
If you remain at stock boost and factory RPM limits, upgraded springs are typically not required. This kit is recommended once you push past ~45 psi boost and/or spin beyond ~3200 RPM.
Will these springs work with OEM retainers and locks?
No need—this kit includes billet retainers and valve locks matched to the springs for proper fitment.
Should I add head studs at the same time?
Yes. When upping boost and RPM, head studs are strongly recommended for reliability. See the ARP kits linked above.
Is machine work required?
Generally no. Always measure installed height and verify coil bind clearance; professional installation is advised.
