FAQs
Will this work with stock fuel?Yes. It's designed for stock to mild fueling upgrades and shines as a tow/daily turbo with cooler EGTs.
Do I need an HX40 downpipe on 2003-2004 trucks?Yes. The Viper 62 for 03-04 requires an HX40-style downpipe and clamp. We recommend HX40DP3.
What supporting mods are smart for towing reliability?Head studs (ARP 247-4202), a quality intake (aFe 54-10412), and intercooler/boost-tube upgrades (03-07 kits) help keep EGTs and drive pressure in check.
Is this 2004.5-2007 compatible? No. Use the later Viper 62 for 2004.5-2007 (different downpipe requirement). This listing is for 2003-2004 only.
