FAQ
Will this turbo bolt on my 1994–2002 5.9L Cummins?Yes. It’s a drop-in upgrade for 12V (1994–1998) and 24V (1998.5–2002) 5.9L Cummins. Most installs need a 4" HX40 downpipe to match the turbine outlet.
Is tuning required? No tuning is strictly required for stock fueling, but pairing with mild injector and pump upgrades can maximize performance. Always monitor EGTs and boost.
What’s the typical use case?Towing and daily driving with lower EGTs and quicker spool than larger race units, while supporting mild fueling upgrades.
What downpipe do I need?An HX40/Marmon 4" downpipe is recommended for proper fitment. See the Recommended Parts section above for CPP-stocked options.
Does it include gaskets and oil lines?Gaskets and lines are typically sold separately. See our Turbo Accessories and Oil Feed Line links above for CPP Diesel options.
