Yes if it’s a 12-valve P7100 (built before the mid-’98 changeover). If you have a 24-valve VP44, shop the 1998.5–2002 section.
’94–’95 trucks are typically 47RH (hydraulically controlled); ’96–’98 are usually 47RE (electronic governor). Match parts by year/VIN and check our Transmission/Transfer Case page.
KDP fix, quality lift pump/filtration, coolant service and a trans temp/EGT gauge. Then consider an HX35 refresh or mild S300 upgrade to improve driveability.
