Product Description
CNC Fabrication 423006 94.5-98.5 7.3L Billet Plenums - Blue
The CNC Fabrication 423006 Billet Intake Plenum Set is a premium upgrade for 1994.5-Early 1999 Ford 7.3L Power Stroke diesel engines. Precision CNC machined from high-strength 6061-T6511 aircraft-grade aluminum, these billet plenums replace the factory stamped steel units with a stronger, more durable design capable of handling increased boost pressure and performance demands.
Unlike the factory sheet metal plenums that can deform around the center inlet when tightening charge air cooler boots, the CNC Fabrication billet plenums feature a thicker wall design that maintains proper sealing and structural integrity under high boost conditions. Finished in a durable blue powder coat and manufactured in-house in the USA, these plenums provide both improved engine bay appearance and enhanced reliability for stock, towing, and performance-oriented 7.3L Power Stroke applications.

FAQ
What are the benefits of billet intake plenums?
Billet intake plenums offer greater strength and durability than the factory stamped steel units. They resist deformation under high boost pressure and provide a more secure sealing surface for charge air cooler boots.
Will these fit my 1995 7.3L Power Stroke?
Yes. These plenums are designed for 1994.5-Early 1999 7.3L Power Stroke applications, including OBS trucks that utilize the earlier intake configuration.
Are these compatible with aftermarket HPOP and fuel line kits?
Yes. CNC Fabrication designed these plenums to work with both factory and aftermarket HPOP line kits and fuel system upgrades.
Is installation hardware included?
Yes. The kit includes the necessary bolt and nut hardware as well as a tube of Permatex Ultra Gray RTV sealant for installation.
Do OBS trucks retain the factory MAP sensor location?
Yes. OBS versions include provisions for mounting the MAP sensor in the factory location and include the necessary plug and hose barb.
What torque specification should be used during installation?
CNC Fabrication recommends tightening the plenum bolts to 20 ft-lbs while working from the center outward for proper sealing.
