The Pintop is a Jack-of-all-trades shock package from which every Ram owner would benefit. Raising the Ram Platform then adding the 2.5” diameter shocks (55% more piston surface area than a 2.0” shock) will support the argument that these trucks should come equipped with 2.5” shocks from the factory. Take the Backcountry, already substantially more capable than the leveling, and throw and exponent on it!

One can expect a tighter, sports-car like handling and road feel with substantially more bottom-out than the Backcountry. If you’re looking for “plush” and don’t spend extended time off-highway, grab the Backcountry. If you spend significant time in the dirt and prefer your truck to handle like it’s on rails, the Pintop is perfect!
