Fitment & Build Paths
Single T6 Build: Excellent for high-horsepower street or competition builds where spool is traded for huge top-end flow.
S300/S400 Compound Systems: Use 179176 as the atmospheric/low-pressure turbo in compounds; combine with a high-pressure charger for fast spool + big air.

FAQ
Will the 179176 bolt onto factory manifolds?
No. The 179176 uses a T6 twin-scroll turbine inlet. Rarely found stock. You’ll need a T6 manifold and matching downpipe/charge piping.
Is this small enough for street or daily driving?
Spool will be slower. For lighter setups or mild fueling, expect lag. Best suited for race, towing, or extremely modified builds, or in compounds as LP/atmospheric turbo.
What compressor & turbine outlet/inlet measurements are we talking about?
Compressor inducer ≈ 76mm (2.99 in), compressor O.D. ~4.13 in; turbine wheel around 87-mm with ≈81.5 mm exducer; 1.10 A/R twin-scroll T6 housing
Do I need special oil feed or bearings with this turbo?
This is a journal bearing turbo. Use high-flow clean oil feed; ensure drain is free flowing. Recommended oil change intervals matter more at high boost/temps.
Will CPP help with compounds or matching high pressure turbos?
Absolutely. We can help spec the high-pressure side or other parts (manifolds, gates, piping) for your combination build.
