Fitment & Build Notes
This housing fits only the S500SX-E frame. It uses a T6 inlet, so matching downpipe/manifold/inlet flange must be T6. Nice response for drag or towing builds where you're already in high boost, or for compound setups where the S500SX-E houses the high pressure side.
Note: volumetric efficiency depends heavily on wastegate setup, turbine outlet plumbing, and exhaust backpressure. Open Volute (VOF) gives smoother spool compared to divided/twin flow housings under many conditions.

FAQ
Is 1.15 A/R a good balance for street + race?
Yes. 1.15 A/R offers more top-end flow than lower A/Rs while still being reasonable for street or mixed use builds. Spool will be a bit slower than a .85 or 1.00 for the same turbine wheel but power gains at rpm are significant.
What’s the difference between Open Volute vs Divided/Twin Volute housings?
Open Volute (VOF) means a single volute, simpler, often smoother spool. Divided or Twin Volute splits the flow path, which can aid in scavenging and transient response under certain exhaust configurations, but often adds complexity and cost. Use the housing type best matched to manifold/downpipe setup.
Will this housing work on my S500SX (non-E)?
Yes — this exhaust housing is compatible with S500SX and S500SX-E frames, since they use the same turbine wheel / exhaust housing bolt pattern and T6 inlet design. Just confirm turbo frame & wheel size when swapping.
Do I need different studs or hardware for this housing?
The T6 inlet uses different flange geometry than T4/T3; either reuse T6-rated studs/hardware or upgrade to match. Check turbine outlet and exhaust plumbing for fitment.
Can CPP help on compound setups or pairing this housing with appropriate high-pressure side?
Absolutely — reach out for guidance. We can spec matching compressor covers, high-pressure turbos, and full compound kits.
