Will a 1.15 A/R T6 open housing spool on a street 5.9/6.7 Cummins?
On very large S500 compressors the 1.15 can still be laggy as a single on a street build. Many customers run it as the low-pressure charger in compounds, or pair with aggressive fueling/advanced tuning when used as a single.
Is this housing divided (twin-scroll)?
No. 179161 is an open T6 volute. If you need divided, consider the 179192 1.45 A/R T6 divided housing above.
What gaskets/v-bands are required?
T6 inlet gasket/hardware matches your manifold. Outlet uses the S500-series large V-band. Reuse good hardware or source new to ensure a positive seal.
Is it CARB legal?
No CARB Executive Order applies. For off-road/competition use where permitted.
