FAQ
Will the 169012 bolt onto my factory manifold?
No. The 169012 uses a T6 twin-scroll turbine inlet. Most light-duty applications are T3 or T4. You’ll need a matching T6 manifold and appropriate downpipe/charge piping.
Is this a good single turbo for the street?
On smaller displacement or stock fueling, spool will be later than an S300 or T4 S400. It shines in high-hp builds or as the atmospheric turbo in compounds.
What compressor outlet and inlet sizes does it use?
5.0" hose inlet, 4.21" V-band compressor outlet, 5.75" Marmon turbine outlet.
Do I need an oil feed restrictor?
Use a clean, correctly-sized feed and a free-draining -10AN to -12AN return. Journal-bearing S400s generally do not use a restrictor; verify oil pressure and follow best practices.
