Product Description
The BD DIESEL 1081133 Low Fuel Pressure Alarm Kit is a critical protection upgrade for 1998–2007 Dodge 5.9L Cummins 24-valve trucks. Low fuel pressure is the leading cause of premature VP44 injection pump failure. This alarm kit provides a bright amber LED warning to alert the driver the moment fuel pressure drops below safe operating levels.
Designed to work with existing fuel pressure sensors, this kit continuously monitors fuel supply pressure and gives an immediate visual alert when pressure falls into the danger zone. Catching low fuel pressure early allows the driver to shut down before damage occurs, potentially saving thousands of dollars in injection pump repairs.

FAQ
Why is low fuel pressure dangerous on a 24-valve Cummins?
The VP44 injection pump relies on adequate fuel pressure for cooling and lubrication. Low pressure can cause internal damage and lead to sudden pump failure.
Does this kit shut the truck down automatically?
No. It provides a visual warning so the driver can safely shut down before damage occurs.
Is this difficult to install?
Installation is straightforward and typically completed in under an hour using basic hand tools.
