The BD DIESEL 1064744 TowMaster Allison 1000 Transmission is a heavy-duty upgraded transmission designed for 2007–2010 Chevy/GMC 6.6L Duramax LMM 4WD trucks equipped with the Allison 1000. The factory Allison is a strong platform, but it was built to handle stock power — not the added stress of towing, larger tires, added weight, or horsepower upgrades. This BD TowMaster unit is built to dramatically improve clutch holding power, fluid control, and durability so your truck stays reliable under load.
BD’s TowMaster build includes revised internal oil circuits and hydraulics, increased clutch capacity, and upgraded components to reduce heat, improve shift control, and prevent common failure points. A BD rigid aluminum heavy-duty transmission pan is included to add fluid capacity, reduce case flex, and improve cooling. This transmission is designed for towing and daily performance use and is dyno tested for quality and consistency.
