The BD DIESEL 1064722SS TowMaster Transmission & Converter Package is a complete heavy-duty drivetrain solution for 2004.5–2006 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks equipped with the LLY 6.6L Duramax and Allison 1000 5-speed automatic transmission. Designed specifically for towing and work applications, this BD-built package delivers increased durability, improved shift quality, and enhanced torque-handling capability over the factory transmission.
Each TowMaster transmission is fully rebuilt and upgraded with reinforced clutch packs, improved hydraulic controls, and BD Diesel valve body calibration to handle increased load and heat associated with towing. The included BD Diesel torque converter is engineered to improve lock-up strength, reduce slippage, and maintain consistent power transfer under heavy towing conditions.
