Description

Engineered for enhanced reliability and extended service life, the BD 10R80 RoadMaster Tranmission is the ideal upgrade for stock or mildly modified vehicles.

It addresses common 10R80 weaknesses with durable solutions -- most notably, the notorious CDF Drum leak is fixed by introducing a retaining feature that supports the internal bushing, preventing it from shifting and blocking fluid pathways.

For sharp shifts and lasting performance, each Tranmission featues an anodized reaction shell to eliminate embedded clutch tooth wear issues and a new OEM valve body, modified to improve solenoid retention and increase line pressure by 30 percent, delivering noticeably higher clutch holding power.

Included in every package is BD's ProForce 10R80 Torque Converter and a high-capacity Deep Sump Pan. The added fluid volume from the deep sump design helps keep the new OEM clutches and steels cooler, promoting longer-lasting performance compared to stock setups.
