The BD DIESEL 1064614 Roadmaster 10R80 Transmission is a premium reliability upgrade for 2018–2020 Ford F-150 4WD equipped with the 2.7L or 3.5L EcoBoost engine and the factory 10R80 transmission. Built to correct the most common 10R80 failure points, the Roadmaster transmission delivers smoother operation, quicker shifts, improved clutch holding power, and significantly better long-term durability for daily driving, towing, and work use.
This Roadmaster transmission includes major internal upgrades that help eliminate delayed shifting, flare conditions, and premature wear caused by the factory CDF drum leakage. A modified valve body increases line pressure by approximately 30% for improved clutch holding, while the revised CDF drum design prevents sleeve failure that can block fluid pathways and create shift issues. A deep sump pan adds approximately two additional quarts of fluid capacity to improve cooling and extend fluid service life.
