The BD DIESEL 1064444F TowMaster 4R100 Transmission is built to dramatically increase the durability and shift quality of your 1999–2003 Ford 7.3L Power Stroke 4WD. The factory 4R100 was never designed for heavy towing stress, high mileage abuse, or added power — the TowMaster addresses those weak points with upgraded clutch capacity, improved lubrication circuits, stronger internal support, and firmer shift calibration for long-term reliability.
Every TowMaster transmission is designed for real-world towing and work-truck use and includes major durability improvements such as a rollerized geartrain, machined center support, reworked front pump, higher line pressure calibration, and additional lube circuits to key planetary and shaft areas. A deep aluminum HD pan increases fluid capacity for cooler temps and better protection, and each transmission is dyno tested prior to shipment.
