The BD DIESEL 1064442SM Towmaster 4R100 Transmission and Converter Package is a matched, dyno-tested transmission and torque converter solution designed for 1999–2003 Ford 7.3L Power Stroke 2WD trucks. Built for towing, daily driving, and demanding work use, this package upgrades the factory 4R100 with increased clutch capacity, improved lubrication circuits, upgraded hard parts, and a heavy-duty deep pan for additional fluid capacity and better temperature control.
This complete package includes an upgraded Towmaster transmission plus a matching enhanced-stall torque converter designed for street and towing. The converter features furnace-brazed fins, a stamp-forged steel cover, improved lock-up clutch material, and reduced heat generation for more efficient operation. The transmission includes reworked hydraulic components, recalibrated accumulator body, increased converter pressure, and critical lubrication improvements for long-term durability.
