The BD DIESEL 1064182SS TowMaster 47RE Transmission and Converter Package is a complete matched drivetrain upgrade for 2000–2002 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 5.9L Cummins 2WD trucks equipped with the 47RE automatic transmission. This TowMaster package is engineered for towing, daily driving, and heavy-duty use where stock transmissions commonly struggle with line pressure loss, clutch failure, inconsistent shifting, and heat buildup.
This package includes a TowMaster heavy-duty remanufactured transmission and a matching torque converter that are dyno tested as a set for maximum reliability and consistent performance. The transmission includes internal durability upgrades, increased line pressure, improved lubrication, and BD’s heavy-duty aluminum transmission pan for additional fluid capacity and improved cooling. It also includes an auxiliary full-flow filter kit for added protection against debris and premature wear.
